In the cultural assets area Inera offers a vast radius of solutions, both proprietary or with its partners.

Of evidence in this context is the use of MetaVista for interfacing with databases of bibliotheques, archives and museums.

Metavista is fully conformant to the ISO23950 Search & Retrieval (Z39.50), supports a vast array of attribute sets and combinations with Z39.50 profiles, and interoperates with data sources that store bibliographical records (e.g. in MARC format and conformant with the Z39.50 profiles, both BIB1 or UK), geo-spatial records (e.g. NGDC format and the related Z39.50 profile, FGDC) or museum (approprate formats to the CIMI Z39.50 profile).

Metavista is fully conformant with the ISO23950 standard.

Metavista implements the various components in the search&retrieval sISO23950 standard and can be integrated in a circuit of databases, be it made of bibliotheques, museums or archives. AccessServer acts as an efficient ambassador between the Z39.50 compliant client and the Z39.50 server, acting in both roles as needed. DataServer acts as a Z39.50 server.

MetaVista DataServer implements OPAC standard whereas MetaVista AccessServer is the main component for building MetaOPAC.

In the application field of cultural assets MetaVista is the choice of many systems, both in Italy and in Europe.

From the integration of MetaVista and EasyWeb (made by Nexus Sistemi Informativi) were created EasyZeta and MetaEasy. Both systems are commercialized by Nexus.
