CEO of Inera and Manager of Market Operating Unit (OU)

Andrea Pini is CEO of Inera.

Beyond administrative responsibilities, Andrea is in charge of Marketing activities and leads various project of software development and services building in the Internet area.

Andrea operates in the following areas:

• E-commerce.
  Design and building of marketing and on-line sales systems, with either B2C and B2B paradigms. Usage of market platforms or proprietary solutions.
  
• Sites and Web Portals.
  Design and building of portal and web sites, developed ad hoc or with Content Management platforms, either from the market or from the Open Source world.

Andrea holds responsibility in the business areas of Publishing, Tourism and Culture.

Luca Lelli:
Manager of Cultural Heritage OU.

Luca Lelli is responsible for the evolution and exploitation of the company products and solutions in the area of Library Information Systems.

In this field it is considered between the expert maximums to national level on Information Retrieval standards, through protocol Z39.50 1995 and of the related profiles of application, of MARC/ISBD syntaxes and all the most diffuse standards use in within librarian, catalographic and archival areas.

He was member of the US Z39.50 Implementers Group organised by the Library of Congress, and the CIMI (Consortium for Interchange of Museum Information) Working Group. He has also been involved in the analysis and the definition of on-line services, based on Internet technologies, on usage of XML, RDF, and related Web services.

In Inera, Luca leads the Cultural Heritage sector:

• Definition of technological guidelines
• Research & Development on Cultural Heritage

Luca leads various project of consulting and software development.

• Consultancy to the Central Institute for the Union Catalogue of Italian Libraries and for Bibliographic Information (ICCU)
  Concerning on technological evolution of Digital Libraries and bibliographic standard area.
• Creation of OPAC and MetaOPAC
• MetaVista
• MetaMAG

Massimo Zallocco:
Manager of Technologies OU and WebShip administrator.

Massimo Zallocco is in the administration's council of Inera's controlled, Webship.

In Inera, Massimo leads the Technologies sector:

• Definition of technological guidelines
• Research & Development
• Open Source.

Massimo leads various project of software development and services building in the Internet area.

• Portals and Web Applications.
  Design and building of Web application and services, integrating state-of-the art network technologies (SOAP, XML, WSDL) with legacy information systems.

Massimo holds responsibility in the business area of Press and, by WebShip, Transportation and Logistics.

Antonio Maiorca:
manager of Operations OU

Antonio Maiorca is the manager of the Operations sector.

Antonio leads various projects of software development and services building in the Internet area.

• Cataloguing, Publishing and Access with Online databases.
  Standard solutions based on Inera MetaVista (Z39.50v3 compliant), specific for data base publishing in a standard circuit accessible online also on distributed databases;
  
• Systems and Network Architecture.
  Programming and Implementation of systems architectures (Cluster, High Avaiability) and network architectures (Lan, Wan, Wlan, Wwan) for secure and efficient services access in Internet and/or Extranet. In Inera, Antonio leads the support group for all hosting, housing and ASP activities.

Antonio holds responsibility in the business area of Information Technology.
